Tillifinney's Journey...Week 15!

And now...Week 14!

So, upon my return from Vegas, I have a very empty bank account but everything was definitely worth it. It was a great trip! Last week I promised you some awesome pictures, so here’s one. We didn’t take too many pictures this trip, aside from escalator selfies, because some memories are totally best kept just in your brain.
Also upon my return, I realized that it is time for a three month update! I think I realized this too late though, so count on that for next week.

I have three months to go on this fitness journey (officially), and almost all of my original goals are met, so my new goal is to find all of my 1RM (one rep. max, for my non­CrossFit friends) and fill out my row on the board. I think I’ll start that this Sunday after Tyler’s running thing at open gym. I’m pretty excited for Tyler to change how I run, because I need all the help I can get.

Whole 30 friends, how is it going? You’re in the double digits of days now, so you should be feeling pretty terrible, but borderline unstoppable. Keep it up! Here is one of my favorite recipes for you to try this week. I make some tomato sauce with this and serve it over spaghetti squash. It’s pretty awesome!

Our softball team has a bye this week. I’m pretty frustrated with the whole thing, but hopefully we can really start playing every week next week!

Also, with summer break nearing its end, and based on observation, DeCO Happy Hour will now happen just once a month. So everyone sync your calendars now! The next DeCO Happy Hour will take place on Thursday, August 21st at 5:30pm. Let’s bring it back to the DeCO hood too, so we’ll plan on meeting at Interstate on 10th and Santa Fe.


Non­CrossFit friends, and I know there are many of you, this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are all free days at DeCO. If you have always wanted to try CrossFit but haven’t been able to come work out with me on a Saturday, this week is for you. It will be great! Click here for more information, including class times.
